01Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement, and you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you are using the Site on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

02Informational Purpose; No Binding Offer

The content on the Site, including service descriptions, project examples, timelines, price ranges, return-on-investment figures, and similar information, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a quote, a guarantee, or a binding offer to perform work at any particular price or on any particular schedule.

Pricing ranges and estimates shown on the Site are illustrative and vary based on project scope, materials, site conditions, and other factors. Nothing on the Site creates a contract for services between you and Altec.

03Estimates & Project Contracts

Any estimate, consultation, or proposal we provide is non-binding until a formal written contract is signed by both you and Altec. All construction and remodeling services are governed exclusively by that separate signed contract, which controls the scope of work, price, schedule, warranties, and other terms. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and your signed contract, the signed contract controls with respect to the services.

Altec Construction Inc. is a licensed California contractor (CA License #740844). Information about our license status is available through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB).

04Use of the Website

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with learning about or engaging our services. You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Copy, reproduce, scrape, or harvest content or data from the Site without our written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code, or interfere with the Site's operation
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Site in any way that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful.

05Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents, including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, designs, and the "Altec Construction" name and marks, are owned by Altec or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license granted above, you may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written consent.

06Your Submissions & Communications

When you submit information through the Site, such as a contact form, estimate request, or booking, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. You grant Altec permission to use the information you submit to respond to you, provide and manage our services, and communicate with you, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for keeping your contact information current. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information through the Site that you do not wish us to use for these purposes.

07Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to, or integrate with, third-party websites and services, including financing partners such as Acorn Finance, scheduling tools, and analytics providers. We provide these for your convenience and do not control or endorse them. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party websites and services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

08Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that the information on the Site is accurate, complete, or current.

09Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altec and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Altec and its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

11Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Placer County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. This section governs disputes relating to the Site; disputes relating to construction services are governed by your signed contract.

12Changes; Miscellaneous

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Altec regarding your use of the Site.
